Backend developers – remote (full-time/part-time)

We’re expanding our network of talented backend developers to work on a variety of projects that span industries and push the boundaries of backend brilliance. READ THIS – IT’S IMPORTANT!

We’re not looking for unicorns who can do it all. We need experts in their domains—whether that’s Java, GoLang, PHP, or something else entirely. This is a fully remote opportunity, so you can work from wherever suits you best (home office, café, or somewhere exotic). If needed, we’ll even fly you to the client site in Europe once a month (all on us) to meet the team and get hands-on with the project. Most of our projects are fully remote, but some clients prefer monthly team sessions.

REQUIREMENTS

- Communication Skills: Top-notch English skills for writing, reading, and speaking, with a quick response time for interviews (usually within 1-2 days). German language skills are a very strong advantage.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years in backend development – we’re after depth, not just dabbling.
- Location Flexibility: Work from anywhere in the world (as long as it has decent Wi-Fi).
- Travel Readiness: Willing to travel to the client site in Europe if needed (travel’s fully covered by us).
- Schedule Flexibility: Available for both part-time and full-time work, depending on client needs.
- Availability: Able to start within 15 days, with a maximum notice period of 2 weeks.
- Certifications: Certifications like AWS, Docker, or backend technology credentials are a plus but not required. They’re like extra brownie points!

We’re looking for a range of skills, but you don’t need to know it all. Instead, we’re seeking experts who bring deep knowledge in their area of specialisation. Here are a few examples of what could make you a great fit.

- Programming Languages : Java, Python, JavaScript (Node.js), C#, PHP, Ruby, Go (Golang), Rust, Kotlin, Swift.
- Frameworks: Spring Boot, Django, Flask, Express.js, .NET Core, Ruby on Rails, ASP.NET, Laravel, Koa, Phoenix.
- Databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, Oracle, SQL Server, DynamoDB, Cassandra, ElasticSearch.
- Cloud & DevOps Tools: AWS (Lambda, S3, RDS), Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation.
- Testing Tools: JUnit, Mocha, Jest, Postman, REST Assured, PyTest.
CI/CD Tools: GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CircleCI, Travis CI, Bamboo.
