Job requirements
Your Responsibilities:

Co-manage the financial accounting of multiple entities;
Assist in preparing monthly and annual financial statements in line with local accounting standards;
Reconcile accounts, including intercompany transactions;
Prepare and support tax returns and regulatory reporting;
Contribute to optimizing accounting processes;
Serve as the point of contact for internal and external stakeholders;
Ensure compliance with legislation by reviewing and validating financial documents;
Verify and analyze expense accounts, including those related to IT projects;
Calculate salaries and taxes, including for special arrangements (e.g., IT project collaborators);
Ensure tax and financial compliance for international operations.

Your Profile:

Completed training as an accountant or a comparable qualification;
3–5 years of experience as an Accountant, preferably in an international operating company;
Experience with the governmental “IT Park” program is a plus;
Strong knowledge of local accounting standards and tax laws in Moldova; familiarity with the German Commercial Code (HGB) is an advantage;
Proficiency in accounting software such as Elemento or similar systems;
Structured, independent, and detail-oriented work approach;
Strong communication skills;
Fluent in Romanian (spoken and written) and proficiency in English.
